Betting tools ↓The three questions every week
Most leagues with friends are redraft leagues, and every week brings the same three decisions. Here is where each one gets answered.
RedraftA normal season-long league: draft in August, manage the team all season, start over next year.
-
Who should I pick up?The waiver wire: players nobody drafted, free to add during the season.Waiver WingmanFree
Enter your Sleeper username or a public ESPN league ID and pick your team. You get pickups ranked for your roster and your league's scoring, each with the reasons behind it. If your league bids on players (FAAB), you also get a bid sized from what your league has actually paid.
-
Who should I start?Your lineup call for the week.
Put two players side by side and see how often one outscores the other, along with each player's range of likely outcomes, not just a single number.
-
Is this trade fair? Before you accept, or before you send one.
Grades a trade by what it does to each team's best starting lineup for the rest of the season, in your league's own scoring and roster spots. Works with Sleeper and public ESPN leagues.
Also free for your league
ADP means average draft position: where a player usually gets picked. The mock room drafts against the ADP of the site you play on, so practice looks like your real draft.
Best ball
Best ball is popular because there is nothing to manage after the draft. The hard part comes later, once you have drafted a lot of teams and lost track of who you own.
Best ballYou draft a team and never set a lineup. Your best scorers each week count automatically. No waivers, no trades.
-
What do I actually own?Across every best ball team you have drafted.Best Ball Portfolio ManagerMembers
Every team you draft in one place: which players you own the most of, and a weekly scoreboard for each team. College football and NFL.
-
Who should I draft? Before and during a college draft.
The college players we draft most, and why, written up one player at a time.
Daily fantasy, one step at a time
DFS moves faster than a season-long league and has its own vocabulary. Learn the format for free, then let the builder do the heavy lifting.
DFSDaily fantasy sports: you build a lineup for one set of games under a salary cap, and it is scored that day. No season-long commitment.

Build your lineups
The builder makes lineups for the contest you are entering and ranks them by how they did across thousands of simulated contests.

Upload them
DraftKings lineups export in DraftKings' format. On FanDuel, a guided upload walks you through it in three steps: get the entries file, choose it here, upload the filled copy.
What works today →
Works today: NFL and college football on DraftKings and FanDuel. College basketball and NBA DFS are coming this season. The slate-by-slate table on the DFS page says what has been tested.
Betting info
Nothing on this site needs a bet. If you do bet, these show what a price really means and what to do with a bet you already hold. 21+ where required.
The vigThe bookmaker's cut, built into every price. Removing it shows the chance the price really implies.

Questions
Do I have to bet to use this?
No. The league tools, best ball and DFS have nothing to do with sports betting. The betting tools are a separate section you can ignore completely.
I'm not a stats person. Will I follow it?
That is the point. Each tool gives you the answer first, then the reasons, in plain words. Any term you have not seen is in the glossary.
Which league sites work?
Waiver Wingman and the Trade Calculator read Sleeper leagues and public ESPN leagues. We never ask for a password, and nothing in your league is changed. A private ESPN league needs the commissioner to make it viewable to the public in League Settings.
Which sports are covered?
NFL and college football today. College basketball and NBA DFS are coming this season.
Will this win me my league?
No tool can promise that. What it does is take the guesswork and the hours of research out of each decision, and show you why, so your calls get better and you learn the game as you go.
How does the $10 week work?
The weekly plan is $10 and renews every week until you cancel, which you can do any time from your account. Weekly charges are not refunded. All three plans open exactly the same tools; the only difference is how long they run. See the plans.
Start with this week's waivers
Enter your league, see who to pick up and why. When you want the rest, it is $10 to try it for a week.
