No row is the right answer. Going from Ride toward Equal trades upside for certainty: riding keeps the full $450 in play and risks your $50, while Equal locks in $158.33 either way.
At −140, each $1 on the hedge returns $1.714 ($0.714 profit). The parlay returns $500 if it hits.
The most you can guarantee on every outcome is the Equal result, $158.33 here. Ask for a higher floor and the tool says so and shows the Equal hedge instead, because no stake on the other side can pay more than that both ways.
Every stake above is divided by what the hedge pays, so a better price on the other side means a smaller hedge for the same protection. With live games loaded, the tool prices the hedge at the best book it has. Odds move, so confirm the price before you place it.
